CoolChat employs a set of customized programs called services for our
users. These
programs assist users in
maintaining control of their nickname, channel and memos. They have been customized for the benefit of our WEBtv users so
they may have access to the same functions their PC counterparts enjoy. Click on a button below for a command reference and

BOTserv is CoolChat's newest
service! It allows channel founders to have a small bot in their channel as long as 2 or more other users are there.
It gives flood protection and can be configured to kick users who use bad language and many other features.
Chanserv is a channel protection
service that allows founders to control who gets operator status and so forth. It can be used by wevtv users to kick / ban
users as well.
MemoServ fuctions as a little
post office, allowing registered CoolChat users to send messages back and forth. If the user isn't online, you can
send them a memoserv message, and they will be told about it when they log on.
Nickserv allows CoolChat
users to register their nicknames so no-one else can use them. It also allows users to set parameters for their
nicknames.
